Al's Gold and Pawn Exchange Aurora Co
Consumer Report

Miscellaneous

If you are having any doubts on the trustworthiness and integrity of a pawn shop save yourself the trouble and stay as far as possible away from this store. They sold me an apple macbook laptop stating there was nothing wrong with it. I paid with the agreement that I would get the computer diagnosed and if it turns out that it was stolen or damaged I could return it. After taking it to a authorized apple dealership it turned out that the computer was registered to someone else and it would cost an estimate of 750$ to repair. I returned the computer to the store and asked to speak to Alexis Alvarez the owner. Al’s defense was there was nothing wrong with the laptop until I showed him several keys that weren’t functioning due to water damage. Al then stated he recently fired the employee that sold me the laptop for continually burning him. He said he considers the conversation I had with the employee hearsay. Al did not give me my money back claiming he checked the computer but did not knowingly sell a damaged laptop. This establishment is owned by a con artist who profess to have graduated from the school of hard knocks. For some reason I have never heard of that institution. It must be where one learns to hustle unsuspecting customers with damaged goods.
