I cancelled aol after high speed internet service was first available in my area—aol said they had no records of me cancelling my account and therefore i had no basis for having a $25.90 charge being waived —aol representive—"Stephanie"—employee id # "66834- (located somewhere in utah) was very much a jerk and couldnt give me any info on phone numbers or emails to contact about my problem—all she could give me was a partiall address in florida for billing services and she claimed to be a senior manager at her workplace and had authority to make changes but would not budge—aol is in bad financial shape and have apparently resorted to unethical practices to extort money from prior members to pay for poor management polices and procedures—i had been with aol for about four years and was well satisfied with their services and had no complaints but as soon as i cancelled i am being treated in a very unprofessional manner —what ever happened to the "customer is always right" slogan—thanks
