Ripoff HP refuses to honor warrenty on Brand New Laptop Palo Alto internet

On 8/11/06 I bought a brand new HP laptop from Radio Shack. I called HP for tech support & was tol it is out of warranty. Mind you this is less than 3 months old & the warrenty is supposed to be good for a year.
