Altamonte Springs West Ripoff Beware of Curves

I went to my local curves a few months ago. I used the facility 4 times in a 2 week period all in the same month.

After a couple of weeks of not using the facility, I received a phone call as to why I had not been back. My husband also recieved a call at his office and recived a message as my office too.

Not only The Curves hours at this location very odd and don;t work with the working persons schedule.in addition
due to a severe family illness, my own serious back and neck injury and various other circumstances I was never able to return to the facility.

A few weeks later I received a nasty letter regarding the $39.99 a month fee, since I was not using the center and had paid a substancial amount of money as well as the monthly fee to join I tried to phone the center regarding the letter. My calls always went to voicemail.

Today I received a call from a collection agency that failed to idetify themselves. This woman started threatening me stating I owed Curves $2500.00. She indicated they would be garnishing my wages for the $2500.00 if I didn't pay them by the end of business today. When I responded to her regarding her legitimacy and asked for the claim in writing she hung up on me.

I have since contacted my attorney. Who has all my medical records to substantiate my medical condition.

There are several Curves locations in the area. If you are thinking about joining I would drive the extra distance before joining the Altamonte Springs West location.

What's their commercial say "Let it shine", it's apparent this location is trying to let it shine all the way to the bank with outragious threats and charges for services that were never received.
