Poor customer service - The service of the store managers to the employees

On Sunday (yesterday) the Target ad came out advertizing a drapery sale. On Monday (today) I went in to the store (a one hour round trip for me), and—of course—Target was out of the item. I heard every scenario—
1) too bad/so sad, and we're all really, really sorry
2) fill out a rain chack ticket. Maybe more will come in, maybe they won't
3) go to the other stores in the pacific northwest—they each have a few —I needed 12 panels.
Do you really think you deserve my patronage?
