Target had a 55" Westinghouse LCD HDTV advertised on sale in it's store.
Sale ran 3/4-3/14. I asked to purchase it at a store on 3/10. They didn't have any in stock. I asked if they knew when more would arrive. They replied "week of the 10th". I pointed out this WAS the week of the 10th, so could I get a rain check then. They refused to issue a rain check. I was given a print out of several other stores within a 25 mile radius that "might" have the TV in stock but was also welcome to come back daily to check if more came in. I asked if I could leave my number and they could CALL me when more came in, they said no.
I took the list and called 4 other stores and NONE of them had them in stock.
So, why do they still have the sale signs on the floor models?
