FALSE PROMISES - Sears Card

Furniture & Equipment

I have been a Sears customer for approximately 30 years. Approximately 2 years ago I received a phone call by Sears telling me as a valued customer and having a good credit record with them, they are willing to increase my credit limit so I could transfer whatever amount of any hight interest loans I had to my sears account for a low intrest rate for the life of the loan which I did. I had a dollar limit which was given to me and transferred approximately X amount dollars to the low rate.in 30 years I never missed a payment nor charged anywhere over $2000.00 dollars. I am now being told my credit limit was decreased to $140.00 dollars above what the low rate existing balance is, which leaves me no credit in case I would have to buy a sears product. I have good credit and Miss Amodour from Sears Credit stated it was do to a Trans Union negative report which is a lie I checked with them and have the proof and could provide it to them. Its just the way Sears thanks me as a Valued Customer for 30 years that always pays my bills. Its the principal not because I need to use the credit from them at this time, they are making the interest on the balance transfer they talked me into and telling me I had extra credit in case I had to buy another product from them if I had to. Its another lesson learned and will not happen again.
