Thomasville Flooring Is Extremely Soft and Gets Deep Indents

My husband and I are so unhappy with Home Depot that we do not know where to begin. We purchased Thomasville flooring, and we have now found out that the wood is extremely soft. If you use "futon type" furniture, that is the only way you will not get deep indents in the floor. (We have pads on all the legs and the table.) The floor is embarrassing. Also, note that it is used in a room that is maybe used once a week. Home Depot will do nothing. Customers, shop at Lowe's.
