Belt Sander Tagged Out for Service at Tool Rental Shop

My husband called the HD tool rental in advance to confirm they had a belt sander available. We didn't realize we needed to specifically ask if it was working. Upon arrival at the store, the 2 people running the shop advised, "Oh, it's tagged out for service."
They couldn't get off a stool to see if another location had a working belt sander. Thanks, HD. I always love wasting an hour driving across town just to come up empty!
