Sold me a husky air compressor that is defective and won't replace it (known defect. Faulty belt)

I've been going to this same home depot since it opened about 9 years ago and getting ptetty good service and some good pricing. I was recieving a slight discount for large purchases and have a home depot credit card which I usually tally about a thousand dollars a month... Then all the sudden no more discounts. And the service has gone way down hill. And now I find out I bought a defective air compressor. Ive had it a year and used it maybe a total of 60 hours just shooting a trim gun. Tryed to return the thing and they tell me I'M two weeks late bringing it back. I was nun too happy and I let the service clerk know it.

So I take the pos home and take the cover off and low and behold its just a broken belt. So I try to find a belt and dicover I can't get that belt unless I buy a new $123 tax and shipping unit to go with it (are you f&%#en kidden me) now this is starting to pmo. I got a lowes card a couple months ago. Now lowes is about 4 miles farther away but, I get a 5 % discount on all purchases and I don't mind the extra miles as long as I don't have to feel as if I'm getting RIPPED OFF every time I need a tool or piece of wood. I don't know who's worse. Home depot or husky. But I for one am going to avoid both of them every chance I get. It's really a shame that companys making that much money can't own up to there mistakes and correct them. If I did that to a customer I'd be ashamed of myself...
