Will Not Honour Warranty

My husband and I have purchased several pieces of furniture from The Brick / United Furniture Warehouse and we have always purchased the 5-year warranty, but have never had to claim anything - until now. We purchased a leather couch and the cushions have become so sunken in, that we went out and bought another couch because it was so uncomfortable to sit on. We thought that we could have the couch repaired as per our warranty and place it downstairs in another room.
A guy came out and took pictures of the couch and said someone would be in touch. He even told us that he thought it would be unrepairable. After waiting over a month, my husband phoned the place which is called "Project Nice" where a woman told him that based on the pictures, there was nothing wrong with the couch and they would not be doing anything for us. Clearly, this woman did not have the "pleasure" of sitting on the couch. My husband then asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told that one would call him in 24-48 hours. My husband never received a call from anyone, so he called United Furniture Warehouse directly and was told there was nothing they could do for us. Then, he phoned Project Nice again and received the same response. It wasn't until my husband said that it would be much easier for them to either repair the couch or provide a credit, than to have him fight them every step of the way, that they finally said they would provide a credit of $200 which isn't even half of what we paid for the couch.
Needless to say, we won't be purchasing any more furniture or warranty from The Brick/Leons/United Furniture Warehouse.
