Samsung Model UN32EH4000FXZA Defective TV

Electronics and household app.

On July 31.2012 I purchased a the above model TV. On approx 10/01 I noticed a small black line approx 1.25" at the top of the screen. I contacted Samsung through Live Chat and was told to submit an online service request. I submitted the request. Samsung repair was to contact me within two business days. I was never contacted. I called back on 10/4 to find out why I was not contacted. They said that a request was never filed. That is not true. I verbally filed another request. I was again told I would be contacted in two business days. I was not contacted. On 10/08 I contacted them again. I was told that the TV was to be shipped back to them to be looked at. I asked for a local drop off location that I could bring it in to for service. I brought it in. The TV was there for two days when I was called and told the black line was a crack in the screen and Samsung had refused to fix it because it was physical damage. I never damaged that TV it cracked on it's own.in the next week i escalated the problem all the way to the executive panel committee and the answer was still the same. The TV does not have a mark on it to prove any physical damage on my part. I would also note that Samsung this year agreed to pay millions in a HDTV class action suit related to defective sets from 2006 to 2008.in my opinion the customer service is as terrible as their product. Samsung is not a consumer friendly company that stands behind their product.
