Returns Without Receipt Marked Down 40%, Coupon Refused

When you return items you are not using without a receipt, they mark them down 40%. That is what happened to me yesterday at the Imperial San Diego store on May 30. I forgot to bring the receipt with me. They are not honest. One time I had a Home Depot coupon printed out by computer, and the cashier said he would not accept a coupon made out from Home Depot. Is that crazy?
Finally I went to the front desk, and the manager checked the coupon and said this is a good coupon. Be aware of what you buy and of returns at the Home Depot stores.
