Don't ever sign a contract with Home Depot

Don't think because you sign a contract with the largest Home Improvement Co. That you will be taken care of if something goes wrong with the installation. Because their contract covers them, their vendor and their installer. I signed up to have a patio cover installed and the installer sent out people that couldn't read their specs drawn much less speak english. They had destroyed the siding on my condo and drilled into my exisitng patio when they were supposed to have poured footers for the support posts. Now I am stuck paying for the damage and for the cost of getting out of the contract which is more than the 25% listed in the contract! For over a year I have tried to get them admit it was their fault and they should just let me out of the contract. But no way! Their many pages of contracts covers them no matter what happens and whose fault it is. I will never use Home Depot for anything again and I am spreading the news in any & all surveys open to me!
