Electronics and household app.
On Dec 21, my wife and I went to a electronics liquidation sale. I viewed a laptop, a presario A940NR, with a 17 inch display. The description of the product stated that it had a 250 gb hard drive, but when I got it home, I charged the battery, and checked out the specs, only to find, that it had only 175 gb hard drive, with only 122 gb of free space!
After chatting with an HP rep, she told me, that the model of laptop I had purchased, was only equipped with a 200 gb hard drive, and that if it was refurbished (which the salesman said it was) I should have 175 gb of free space.
I called the office in Cleveland, and the owner told me that the laptop had a 250gb hard drive, when HP said it only has a 200 gb hard drive. Then he hung up on me. So, now I have a laptop that doesn't meet the specs that they advertised, and if I return it, I have to pay a 20% restock fee. I feel, that I should get a full refund, on the basis of false advertisement.
