Poor customer service, less than average quality install, promises broken, prices change and the customer always lies

Electronics and household app.

Scheduled three weeks in advance for a Alpine Deck, Amps, Speakers, Dynamat and alarm install. I was quoted a decent and acceptable dollar amount for the complete install and expectations were set that the install would be finished in that day.

I brought my car in before start of business and reconfirmed the expectations that were previously set. At close of business they called to tell me to pick up the vehicle, but only the deck and the dynamat was installed. They asked me to come back another day and to pay for services rendered. The bill was for the exact amount quoted for the entire job. I explained this to them and they denied the quote and disagreed me. After trying to calmly negotiate the situation the owner was unwilling to communicate or discuss the matter. He then put a immediate Lien on the vehicle and demanded payment in cash only. During almost the entire time the owner became verbally abusive and physically aggressive, trying to "egg me" into a fist fight outside. All of this because I tried to defend my money by not giving into their business practices.

Finally after calling the local police (which they agreed and told the owner I was being burned by him), the only legal recourse was to pay and then take them to small claims court. I paid the bill but will never take my business there and will tell anyone I meet to do the same.

This business practices poor customer service, less than average quality install, broken expectations, prices change at end of service and the customer always lies mentality.
