Electronics and household app.
What happent to me after being an ATT customer for 2 years, is that i placed an order for 2 phones on this service for christmas... I had 1 for about 4 days and decided to keep the other... The one i sent back i called the company and cancelled the phone... I made 1 local call on the phone to my home to test and sent 2 text messages... 2 weeks later in the mail i get a bill for the phone for 79.91... The lady on the phone was nice enough to drop some charges but pro rated me to 47.22.. This included an activation fee!
Now i have An originl phone that i have had with them forn 2 years, and decided to get another... So currently I have 2 phones not including the one i had sent back... Do you think they would give me a break? Na so i told them to bill me for the 47.00 and i said i will just make payment on the phone. Bought tho phone online, and thementioned noyhing about this...
So i asked the lady if i placed an order for one, and never oprend the box would i be charged for this she said yes... I think this is a ligitamate RIPPOFF, seriously even after being a customer for 2 years...
CAVEAT EMPTOR Let the buyer beware of this scam... They have no signatures on anything and i dont see how it can be a legal binding contract...
And if you dont pay them, it goes to collections! And we all know what happens...
They have a fine phone service in my opinion, but this is legal fleecing...
Peace
