Sales Agents Lie! Ripoff

I got a call from this Dish Pronto agent from India. He said that if I switch from DirectTv to Dish Network for my International programming, he can offer me free installtion, $50.00 credit for cancelling DirectTv and $100.00 credit for spread over next 18 months. He said all I have to do is signup for international package along with the basic American channels and I can call after 1st month and cancel the American channels. But when I called Dish Network after 1st month of service they told me that I cannot make any changes to my programming as I am locked in for 18 months. After I told them what I was promised, he said only way to get out of this is to pay for installtion and equipment. So my choices were, either pay $240.00 to cancel my account, pay $199.00 for equipment and installation or keep paying $88.00 per month (instead of $15.99 which I was promised while signing up with Dish Pronto). I ended up paying $199.00 to get out of the contract and started paying $29.00 per month just for 2 international channels.

Dish pronto sales agents lie, don't trust them and never ever sign up with dish pronto's agents, especially when they call from india call center. The name of the agent who cheated me is sean anderson.
