Terrible customer support, deective TV

Electronics and household app.

Our Lcd 42" Television smashed down only 2 weeks after we first got it (Holiday present, over $2000). After weeks of speaking and mediating between their (several) repair shops as well as their organization - these were fighting with me about who had been likely to purchase the fix, even though it was under guarantee and just a few weeks previous - I eventually got anyone to come and resolve it.

They eventually arrived, and stated they mightnot restore it (sound) - but included that because it was not a "continuous" bother, to simply "reside withit"

After fighting using the restoration shop and also the organization - Philips ultimately decided to send me to a different store. They stated it mightnot be fixed, that it had been a probable a producer's issue, and also arrived in.

Within The months I had been looking to get this resolved with Philips, another thing smashed (the picture on evening only strangely started getting blocked-out).

Today, it does not actually switch on. I

Named them up to now, atleast 9 times. Of these 9 times, they then hung-up 4 times and set me on-hold.

I just now got off the telephone having a boss (after waiting about the telephone for 20 units - but I imagine I ought to be thankful they did not hang-up on me this time around) - I am informed the Television might have to visit a "evaluation panel" for repairs.

I am not really assured that it will be set and/or changed, not to mention obtain a reimbursement, simply because they have "methods" to check out. He informs me that he cannot tell me that after I inquire about the methods. He does however pertly advise me that, should this happen after dark guarantee time, that there's "no way" they're likely to increase it.

Incredible! I have never had issues terrible customer support, with an item - if you're able to actually call it. Philips clearly really wants to allow it to be clear that after they allow you to invest your cash on the items that are faulty, they need you off their fingers! Together with that, it has been my expertise that though they wont provide you with the time whenever you request support, each goes out-of their method to patronize their customers with key "guidelines" they evidently constitute, because they complement.

I work-in the medical center and was planning to contemplate their medical gear - however now that I understand they market such faulty items, but mainly since Iam so ashamed using their customer support, Iam not just likely to refrain from purchasing their gear for that middle, but may walk out my method to tell-all my other acquaintances, individuals and all of my family and friends of the encounter.

It occurs that people all end up having our acquisitions time to time, but Philips is just a shame!
