37" LCD Television Not Working

03/07/09 I bought a Magnavox LCD 37 HDTV in Dec. Of 2006 from Sears in Houston Texas. The design # is: 37MF231D/37. About the day of July 12th I switched it on and got no image or audio merely a red flashing light for around five minutes after which it switched on. I unplugged it in the wall for around 10 moments, blocked it in and got exactly the same reaction. I named Magnavox customer service and described anything. We tried some program troubleshooting that we had previously completed. Then she advised me the Television was from guarantee. She recommended a repair center VTS in Houston and stated there is nothing else she might do. She offered me a research # and also the discussion concluded. After getting it towards the repair center they explained that primary circuit-board needed to be changed which may charge $400.00. Itis charging over half what I taken care of the Television simply to restore it. There is anything that simply does not accumulate with that.

Ever since then I've read on lots of issues that additional customers who bought exactly the same or comparable TELEVISIONis from Magnavox have observed. Mainly many of these issues have happened following the guarantee ended and 24 months or less from purchase of itis. Personally I think that there's some form of deficiency in these kinds of Televisionis that Phillips understands. I named Phillips again today to request to consult with somebody within the issues department. I had been educated that there's no criticism department where they're, but offered mean address in Marietta, Ga. Which after reading all of the grievances on the web I understand that won’t achieve worthwhile. I've since that time, e mailed my criticism towards the Better Business Office. I'm expecting their response. I believe more individuals must protest for them, perhaps anything can get completed.

I'm really dissatisfied in Philips products using the sluggish support on the goods. I'll likely never again purchase any Philips or Magnavox item as time goes on or suggest to anybody. I'm considering the choice of having my money returned by Philips for that Television or is likely to be processing a little states match in the nearby courtroom for that problems and waste of my period.
