Ripoff, failure to provide full disclosure, unfair business practices on the

Electronics and household app.

Ordered a wall TV stand recently using their online store as none of the physical stores in the area had the unit I wanted in the right color (white). Ordered online and everything went smooth. Roughly 15 minutes after I ordered online and gave them my credit card I decided to go with the black stand which I could get at the physical store.

I called the Internet customer service line as there was no way to cancel online. I was told by the internet customer service that they see my order but that I could not cancel as that was not their policy. I was told that there was no way for them to stop the order. I said "what, are you guys just waiting around for an order and when you see one you immediately through the part on a UPS truck"? I said if this is your policy, why is that not disclosed on your website so the public would know once you place an order that it cannot be canceled? She didn't seem interested in anything I had to say and offered no answer.

All I was told is that I could go ahead and have it delivered by UPS and return it to any store for a full refund less the cost of shipping. This is where I felt ripped off. Return policy at Bestbuy has always been good, but if you order by internet be certain you want the item because if you return it later you will still end up paying shipping which in my case was $10 more than I would have paid if I had just paid the sales tax and bought it local. Seems to me there should be disclosure on the site for this.
