Plasma TV Exchange Charged 15 Percent Restocking Fee

I bought a 43" Panasonic Plasma TV for $1800.00 on a Friday, took it home over the weekend and watched it. The picture and sound were poor. I returned it the following Tuesday for and exchange for a 34" Sony HDTV at the same price.

The electronics manager told me that K-Mart had changed there return policy and that I would have to pay a 15% restocking fee. The fee would apply whether or not if I exchanged it for something else. I told them the TV wasn't up to par with my tube tv and if I had to pay the restocking, I wouldn't be buying anything else from Sears. It cost me $240.00. Won't be back.
