Account Moved to Ex-Wife's Name and New $150 Deposit Demanded

I had DirecTV about 2 years ago, and they took my system and transferred it to my wife's name at the time.

I got divorced. I got DirecTV again and had it put in for my kids, and they transferred it again into my ex-wife's name. The customer agreement states that they can't transfer accounts into someone else's name unless there is civil action, a divorce pending, or court action.

None of this happened. I was already divorced, and they transferred it anyway.

I called DirecTV to see if I could get my account back. They told me no, I have to get a new account and pay 150 plus 19.99 for shipping and handling.

I have receipts from where I paid for my 2nd DirecTV account. I paid with a credit card of mine.

Now they want me to pay a 150 deposit and 20 in shipping and handling charges.

What can I do? I thought about suing them. Is this an option?
