Automatically Subscribed to Sunday Ticket and Refused Refund

DirecTV runs a racket. Special prices draw you in, and then, while your attention is elsewhere, services you never asked for get added to your account. That happened to me. I was signed up for Sunday Ticket, a football package, even though I have no interest in sports and would never order anything of the kind. Here is where I was cheated. When I decided to move up to HD, I discovered that Sunday Ticket had been added without my say-so. I tried to drop it, but DirecTV replied that, sorry, I had to pay for the full season. Why would anybody pay for a thing they never wanted in the first place?

If you are thinking about DirecTV, my advice is simple: don't. Every chance they get, they will cheat you.
