Washington Mutual - Wells Fargo
Claimed they didn't get payments and refused to give us credit after proof was provided ripoff

We were told we were four payments behind when Washington Mutual took over our mortgage in late 2001. I repaid the payments because I didn't know if the old company had fowarded the payments or not.
We were told the same thing in 2002 and had to repay them again to stop foreclosure only to be told the same thing in 2003 and 2004.

On March 29 I paid a lump sum payment of $3336.40 and was told it would bring the loan current to May. I have made a payment each month since and still we are told we are four payments behind.

The loan was transferredto Wells Fargo in December as in default. After providing proof to them that the payments were made and cleared they are telling us we still owe four payments.

How can we be four payments behind if all payments were made? I started paying with cashier checks in 2003.

Some of the checks made payable to Washington Mutual were endorsed and deposited into a different account by an employee and when questioned about it, I was told it was legal

It was embezzlement because the check was made payable to Washington Mutual not the employee. I have been trying to get this resolved since 2002 with no luck.

According to the payment history provided four payments were repaid four times and we are being charged for payments for 2010 and its only 2007.

Makes me wonder who's doing the books. I have been insulted with racial slurs by employees at Washington Mutual and one employee at HUD National Office said just pay whatever the hell they say you owe and dont call us anymore.

Can someone help resolve this matter and get us off this roller coaster ride to hell?
