I have gone through forebearence before when Washington Mutual had the mortgage and made each payment on time but at the end of it they said we still owed the same amount of money as before.in 2001 I paid them over $3900 to repay payments they said were reversed for nsf and sent copies of my bank statement showing the payments actually cleared.in 2002 I paid it again for the same payments, in 2003 paid it again and 2004 paid them $3334.40 and in 2005 they asked for it again for the same four payments from 2001 but I refused to pay again. I had the US Attorney General's office contact them, the US Department of Housing, The federal Trade Commission and I even wrote President Bush about how they kept asking for the same payments to be repaid and still got nowhere. When the loan was passed on to Wells Fargo it was still in dispute and the Department of Housing was working with me on it.

I sent copies of everything to Wells Fargo and they ignored it and said we still owe the money. When I contacted HUD since its a FHA loan the man cussed me out and said pay what ever the Hell they say and dont call us anymore. We dont live above our means and didn't bite off more than we could chew, in fact our house payment including tax and insurance is cheaper than the rent on the apartment we lived in for 5 years.

This is just a roller coaster ride to hell Washington Mutual put us on and no one wants to help us get off. It is only me and my husband and we pay our bills, we have no car payments, no boat/rv payments, we pay our tithes and even help with our grandchildren. We are normal good people trying to be homeowners.
