Ripoff

I ordered Vongae last June. There was to be no charge in the event I cancelled within 30 days. Also, first month of usage was to be free. I never got there however as you will see I was charged.

Since I could not figure out how to attach the modem, I phoned everyday to get help. Naturally, anyone I spoke to could not help me, someone would call me back, never happened. Finally, e-mailed and called them to cancel. This is what I received in return:

Your Vonage DigitalVoice service has been cancelled and a final charge of $41.10 was issued to your credit card on 06/14.

Your billing details and summary are available for viewing in your web account at https://secure. Vonage.com/vonage-web/logon. View

How do I read my bill?

Your invoice will be divided into two sections: Invoice summary, and Charges Detail.

INVOICE SUMMARY summarizes your account number, invoice number and amount charged.

CHARGES DETAIL itemizes the individual charges on your invoice.
* Termination fee of $39.99 will appear on line one.
* 6% Sales Tax is charged to customers with a New Jersey billing address.
* Sales tax is not charged to billing addresses in any other location.
* 3% Federal Excise Tax is charged to all customers.
