I was a customer of Vonage phone service for 5 years. When Vonage started lowering their rates for new subscribers to be competitive in the market, I figured I would be able to get a reduction in my phone bill. I contacted Vonage since I had not received anything in the mail from them asking if I would like to take advantage of their new offer, since I was a longtime customer, and I was denied. They said that I would have to cancel my service and then sign back up. How rediculous. So I did cancel my service, and went with another provider, much cheaper than Vonage, but not before Vonage charged me for another month! At full price! When I called to get the money back, since my service was cancelled and they charged me for the future month, they said it is written in my contract "no refunds"! Charging me for service that I was not going to use or receive?! And no refund?! This company is HORRIBLE!!
