Sears delivey in Fallon, Nevada delivered a Fridgedaire washer/dryer set to my elderly parents on Sat. Jan 21. During installation they broke the pvc water pipe and had to shut off the water to the entire house. The installer made a phone call and then left with the only explaination "there was nothing else they could do". My mother 89 years old, called Sears on Sunday, only to be told no one could come out until Monday. The Sears Rep told her that the installer said on his report that they (my parents) had said they would be responsible for the repairs! A lie and this upset my parents! My father drove to a hardware store 50plus miles for the materials to fix the pipe so they could have water for toilets and cooking etc, and more than 24 hours after Sears broke their pipes they finally had water Sunday evening. Now they are waiting for Monday to have the set installed.
