Ripoff, improper instalation of hot water heater

In april sears authorized installer put a hot water heater in my condo. It was sears top of the line unit and i bought a 5 year service contract.

October 10 the hot water heater blew up because the installer, appliance alliance of millerton ny (steve carey owner) put an alloy fitting to a copper pipe. This caused a situation called electrolis. Any plumber should know this. Sears sent out a repairmen who could not belive what he saw. He put on the receipt that is was not installed right. There was so much damage to my home it was more then i had in condo insurance.

Sears said that they were not responsible. Besides and i was told this by the admin for the president of sears " people need sears, sears does not need people" and if you never shop here again it would not bother us.

The installer has no insurance. He submitted 3 separate insurance names and the companies never heard of him. The last was safeco and helmsmen mgt. My insurance company said it would be too costly to go after sears and appliance alliance. So i can not even get my deductible back. So here i am still trying to replace the damage sears did
