Kenmore Built In Microwave Key Pads Fail Within a Year

Stay away from kenmore built in microwaves -key pads fail-

I am on my second built in microwave in 2 years because the ones I bought both had the key pads fail within the first year and Sears won't own up to repairing this. I buy an appliance to last me at least 5 years but this microwaves ovens barely last a year. My warranty expired in june of this year and sears refused to repair my second microwave oven instead they suggested I buy a service contract. The first time it happened I understood the warranty was over and it was very costly to have it repair so I chose to buy a new one but after 1 year the second microwave also failed with the same issue -they key pad.-

I find it insulting they don't send someone to fix this item. Kenmore is not even concerned with finding out whats wrong so other customers are and similarly inconvenienced in the future.

Please stay away from Kenmore built in microwaves as the key pads fail after a while model numbers 721800337000 & 40180086700
