Beware BAD Texas Builder, Dishonest, Fraudulent! Rip-off!

We purchased a custom home from Jim Spillane of Spillane Construction Inc in May. Since that time, he has refused 1) to complete the list of Inspection items as required by the purchase contract, and 2) to to provide any warranty services to our new home. We followed all of the legal guidelines for providing him with notice of defect and requesting that he perform repairs and warranty work on our house. He was dropped by the home warranty administration porgram for refusing to perform to his contract with them, and we have no other alternative than to file a lawsuit.

This man has complete disregard for Texas law and is dishonest and fraudulent in his business dealings with Texas homebuyers. Any potential homebuyers should be VERY wary and carefully consider entering into any purchase contract with him.
