They are trying to sell me a tractor through ebay, which ebay doesnt confirm

I have been looking for a used tractor on craigs list, when a 2005 3320 john deere with a loader and backhoe for the price of $4,550.00 and includes shipping.
After three emails from this person she said if i wanted to purchase it, eBay would be sending me invoices to complete the transaction.
I recieved three emails from "ebay" which one of them was from an "ebay financing center agent" instructing how to wire the money.
I contacted ebay about this and talked to a security rep and he told me this was a scam and they had nothing to do with this tractor.
I have not sent any money because of my suspicions.
In my last contact with the people that are trying to sell the tractor, I requested a serial# and a scanned photo of the title.
I have not received these two documents yet.
