We have been looking for a tractor for our small farm, and when this came up on the local craigs List for Binghamton, NY, we were excited!

The page was strange, more like a web ad, and there was a button tocontact the seller rather than a legit email link from craigslist. We answered it and then the link on craigs list was gone 5 minutes later. 3 days later, we finally got an email about it.

The grammatical errors were a warning sign, as were the places there weren't spaces for punctuation. I thought it looked an awful lot like this had been copy pasted, but if it was real, I wanted it. I asked where they would be shipping from and if there were any problems. The reply came about 5 minutes later, and then I knew it was a scam. My questions weren't answered and they told be to send them my info and ebay would contact me.

It was a repeat! I did some checking up on this and found this website. I wrote back asking the same questions as the previous e-mail and for a scan of the title.

It's been 30 minutes and I haven't heard back. I don't expect to.

When something is bought through ebay, ebay makes up a page for it and you click "buy now". Ebay doesn't have the man power to do it the way they describe. Be ware!
