Cub Cadet... Built Tough. Yeah right, as long as you don't cut your grass!

We bought a Cub Cadet in 2005 because we were told they were "built tough" and would withstand alot. Well, it has been in the 'repair' shop more than what we have used it. We have just barely over 100 hours on the derned thing, the spindle keeps breaking and they are telling us it's because we run over "twigs" and uneven ground, so therefore they will NOT honor the warrnaty. It has been in the shop so many times and we have had to pay so many times for it to be repaired. PLUS, they are saying it has the wrong bolt in it, thus causing it not to "float" on the ground, but Elberta Hardware, in Elberta, Alabama are the ONLY ones that have done anything to it. Every time we take it in, we are accused of "tampering" with it. But we don't cuz we don't have a clue what to do to it to fix it. The man at Elberta Hardware even got in my husbands face, and cursed him out when he took it back there this last time. Do not buy a cub cadet mower!!! They are not built tough. We had a Kubota and they stood behind their warranty and cut the same area and we NEVER HAD a spindle problem with them. We did have just a month or so with the Cub Cadet after we bought it. Do not buy a cub cadet. They will not stand behind their product!!!
