Read all the bad reviews and still but a Cub Cadet mower. I bought the Enforcer off the commercial line thinking if a spent $2000.00 extra it would last for my small propery since the cheaper lines sound like they just fall apart. It mowed 9 hours total the first year with 3 break downs and me having to rent a mower to coplete the season. Issues include bolts falling off (worlds worst crush nuts), belts for deck coming off and destroyed-often every few hours, wrong motor manual, deck hangers falling off and poor design, hour meter failing. A mowing for me takes 3 hours.in that period I will have atleast 3 belts off but if I shut off deck within a second or two I can minimize the damage. Belt tension is correct and same issue your can read about all over the internet. I have to check all bolts after each mow as they just fall off and had to invest in some locktite.
I get the feeling the machine was drawn up and built without any field tests. It looks like it should be fine but in reality it is junk. I contacted Cub Cadet for help... Or to see if they wanted to take if back from me:-)... But no reply. I realize you get what your pay for but $6000.00 and I got 9 hours mowing... One expensive lawn.
