Well, maybe that is the trouble, they are competent at slacking off. I have always bought my large appliances at Sears. Not anymore! I moved to Texas, bought a side-by-side refrigerator, washer, dryer, Dyson vaccuum, treadmill (an expensive one), and large air hockey table. First delivery, refrige, went well, they hooked everything up, nice guys.

From there on, it gets ugly. Washer hoses were hooked up backward, hot to cold water faucet, cold to hot. I heard them testing, so I assumed it was correctly hooked up. Didn't do a cold-water wash until 5 weeks later. Will come out for a "nominal" charge, insinuated that I may have messed around with the hoses myself.

Air Hocky was delivered with treadmill, but they couldn't get it thru the front door as it was already assembled. I asked them to just take off the back lets, 4 bolts, to get around the column so that they could easily swing it thru the front door. They replied they didn't do that, they would send in a technician. Meanwhile, my movers had arrived and offered them tools and assistance, which Sears Delivery ignored-no, I mean totally ignored, since they did not even answer my movers. Sears delivery assured me they would put the call in right away and a technician would come out, probably that day. Hockey table went into the garage.

Next morning, I called the delivery number, they said that no report had been called in, Delivery should have disassembled the back legs to get it into the house. Told me to call the Sports Department in the store, store manager said they didn't handle delivery, call delivery. Called back delivery, said they would get a Service Specialist to call the store, then call me back. 2 days later, called delivery to see why "Specialist" did not call me back, nor had store. Delivery said they would have Specialist call me back within an hour. 3 hours later, called delivery telling them no call from anyone. They informed me that the Specialist had talked to the Department Manager at Sears, No, the delivery guys were not supposed to disassemble the legs, now I had to deal with the store, they could not help me anymore.

Finally, I had to pay another $50 to get a delivery man (and I had to help carry the table in, since he was alone) out to take off the legs and get it set up. I will never buy anything, even small from Sears again.
