Notebook computer fan stopped working - hewlett packard lap top

I brought my HP DV7 notebook pc into geek squad to have the fan motor replaced as it stopped running and was over heating, I powered the notebook on to show the clerk at bestbuy in Marysville, Wa. That is was working and booting into windows and there were no problems with the operating system and showed him the fan was not blowing, I asked him to note this for the tech who would be replacing it.
After they sent it to the geek squad main repair place I received a call with an estimate of 335.00 and they said the cpu was bad and they needed to replace the cpu and entire cooling system... (FRAUD!) A computer will not boot into windows with a (bad cpu) the only problem with the notebook was a bad fan motor which costs less than 10.00, labor to replace it takes one hour = 90.00, after explaining to the technician he said it would cost 220.00 to just replace the fan motor... Just want everybody to know how crooked (Best Buys GEEK Squad) is. NEVER trust BestBuys Geek Squad, Fraud seems to be how they do business.
