UPS Driver Lied

I awaited my delivery from UPS today, rearranged my schedule to be here for the delivery as I have a gate that needs to be unlocked to enter. When I checked the status on the delivery it said it needed a correct address. I checked the order confirmation and saw the sender had the correct address.
I live in a small city, all streets have municipal installed street signs, my mailbox has the house number on both sides and the house number is above my front door. It was raining at the time that the status was updated about not having the correct address, I believe the UPS driver didn't want to get out his truck in the rain and made up the bogus entry of not being able to deliver.
I am able to substantiate with pics street sign and house number if necessary. What has happened to customer service in this country? Does UPS even care, it sure seems not as this is not the first time I have had delivery issues with UPS.
