Graham Hall Auto Sales
Ripoff bad service lied to BBB!

Cars & Transport

My boyfriend bought a vehicle this year off of Graham Hall Auto Sales. He bought a 94 Ford Explorer. We put down $3,500 on the vehicle cash, it was a $4,000 vehicle. We bought the vehicle with A/C, cruise, and 4WD, none of which work. We bought the vehicle and drove it home that day, and were told to bring the truck back in the next few weeks, and they would fix those things, since we did buy the vehicle with them. We did bring the vehicle in several times to get other things fixed, and they fixed some of those things on the truck. We then tried twice to make an appt. To get the things mentioned above fixed, and they were booked both times we called. At that point we only owed $200 more on the vehicle, and didn't want to pay him the rest until the vehicle was fixed, to how we purchased it.

He wrote a letter to the BBB about the situation. That Friday night, the week Graham got the letter from the BBB, he called and said that he was going to repo the truck the following Monday. The payment was not even 30 days late, and even if it was, we wanted to wait until we heard from the BBB. So he called on a Friday night, when nothing is open on the weekend to help us. The following Monday, I guess he attempted to repo the truck, but my sister was at my house, and had parked behind the truck, which wasn't running at the time anyway. They didn't repo it because of that, my sister was only there for about 3 hours.

My boyfriend ended up paying him the $200. He was supposed to pay the repo fees, because they had already paid it or something (but the vehicle was never accually taken) but got out of that.

Whatever, we just figured we would tell people not to buy from him. Then I got the letter back from the BBB. Graham had put on there that he had tried SEVERAL times to repo the vehicle. First of all, the truck was parked in my driveway for 2 weeks prior to him calling us about the repo, because it wasn't running, so he could have easily taken it. He only notified us once about repoing it, because we were waiting on the BBB to reply. So why didn't he repo the vehicle? Second, I lived not even 5 min. From him! He also told them that he was going to repo the vehicle that Monday, now that he "finally" found the truck.

Wow Graham, if you can't drive 5 min. Down the road and pick up a vehicle that was there all the time, you shouldn't be selling lemons. And why do you insist on lying to the BBB? If it's to make yourself look good, it didn't, because you know that you are lying.

Do not buy a vehicle from Graham Hall Auto Sales. Unfortunately we are out that money now, but I've made sure so far, that 3 people haven't bought a vehicle from him, and I'll continue to tell people that.
