Sold me a vehicle that had problems fom day 1

I was sold a van that had problems from the start. It was driven less than 500 miles before the muffler fell off. Sounds were coming from the van that I could not recognize, so I bought it back. He told me it was a part that, I found out later, did not even belong to that year vehicle. So he proceeded to fix things that didn't need to be fixed, and charged me for them. But still did not fix the sound that was coming from the van.

Later that year, being fed up the problems, I dropped the van off to his lot. He still put a repo charge on my credit about a month later before we went to court. I did not realize the "repo" would go on my credit report. Meanwhile I was convinced by my lier, ooops, I mean "lawyer" that I should settle out of court because I drove the vehicle to many miles. A vehicle that I had problems from day 1 and that I lost money on and gave me bad credit.
