Ripped me off by letting me pay for repairs to their vehicle then repo my car Ripoff

I signed a contract with MT Auto Sales to purchase a vehicle that the owner told me was in excellent condition. The vehicle was at a dealership in Louisiana in the service center at the time. I drove to Louisiana to pick up the vehicle and paid $4,000 to get it out. From that day forward the MT Auto Sales would not help me with the repairs or give me my money back. The vehicle was in the shop several times after that totaling an additional $779.00. Due to the expense I incurred taking several road trips from Dallas to Lafayette and the expense of getting the car fixed, I fell behind on the payments. Mike and his brother called me for payments as if they were unaware of any of this. I was only able to drive the car maybe 3 or 4 days the entire time it was in my possession. I spoke with Danny at MT Auto Sales and told him when I would be able to bring the car note current and that very day, he sent a tow truck over to my house to repo the car. I received a letter of intent to sell which was sent to me 4 days before the intended sell date.

I would like my $4779 back! Can someone offer any advice as to what the laws in Texas are for repossessing a vehicle and how I can go about getting my money back? I think this Dealership and owners are dishonest and should be brought to justice.
