SCAM Fake car bad business practice stole my money refused to make good on situation!

Cars & Transport

I am going to write here what I wrote to Better Business Bureau.

I bought a Dodge Neon 2000 in early February, gave them 2100 cash from my bank account/debit card, then took a small pay loan to pay for dealer's fees. The car was originally 2400.

When I drove the car home, I found it was unsafe. No airbag, no horn, inside of the door on the passenger side front fell off, no locks, extremely bad body. When I was at the lot the battery was dead. They said they would fix it.

This is what happened: I got home and my son tried to lock the front seat door. There are no locks that work on the front door on the right! He opened the door and the whole inside of the door fell off! We got back to the car, and I found no horn when I unlocked his door from the outside (only way to lock door). I looked and found no horn! The driver's wheel apparatus totally broken. We came home. I work at home and go to school at home. The car sat for 3 days... Dead battery!!!

I called AAA they replaced the battery and said the whole car looked like it was in a wreck. To sell it! The car has no front grill. My son and his friend were in the back seat, no seat belts! The kids took the seat apart and found the buckles! The whole car is falling apart! I am studying for the ministry and there are curse words written on the inside of the car ceiling! My son told me (he is 11). The paint is coming off around the car windows! Obviously it has been spray painted!

The check engine light is on and the car says fuse. AAA did not know what it was. They said it is probably the electrical system as the locks don't work, no horn and the inside dome light does not work. I am scared to take this car anywhere.

The dealer called and said to pick up my title. I said please mail me my plate (temporary expires on the 15th), since I can't get there (dead battery). They said they would call me back. They never did. The tag expired. I refused to pay the first 2 100.00 installments on the dealer fee loan, and they never gave me a tag.instead they took the car. I got very little use out of this car, which sat in the parking lot broken.

Initially there was no customer service. When I looked at the car the guy did not speak English. I told the lady I did not want the car, but she said that they would fix it as drivable and since I took a cab and could not get back home I signed the papers and gave them the 2100.00 cash.

I filed with BBB. The place after they took the car one night b/c I did not pay the first 2 100.00 installments called me and said there was a sign no refunds. Then, I get a letter in the mail saying I owed the balance on the car, plus it would be put up for sale after the 31st of March. Then, they'd sue me for the contract plus expenses.

I look on their website. On the 30th it was up for sale for 3400! It is still there with my brand new battery, the cute dice decoration on the rearview mirror my son gave me. They took my 2100, want me to pay the rest. I have no car, they are reselling it for 3400 now on top of what I paid.

BBB could not resolve the issue, b/c the vendor would do nothing. I am asking that my bank through MasterCard investigate this fraud as I got no product/no use out of the vehicle. Also it is on the BBB website.

Cheaters, liars, and scammers. Do NOT buy from this place. Do NOT trust what they say. Spread the word!
