Five days late on payment vehicle repossessed

Car Zone repo'd my truck when I was five days late on one payment. No call, no letter, no one even gave us a chance to retrieve our personnal belongings. It is their right to place the vehcile in default after the first day but a call could have helped us take our drivers license, cell phone, title to a horse trailer, horse feed and other personnal items out of the vehicle.

Truck needed repairs on two injectors and was scheduled to be repaired the next day, $1200.00 was the estimated cost. Thanks God I did not invest this money yet, and the check was in the mail for the payment. Stopped that payment as soon as I got a ride home from work.

Oh yeah, hope they did not drive too far, the fuel gage never worked, always said "full", it probably had less than five gallons in it because they were going to take the tank off tomorrow as well. Also hope they know how to hold on it has a hell of a "death" wobble when breaking.

They placed a GPS on the vehicle and knew where it was, do not understand why no one called so I could at least let them know that a payment was in the mail as they were pulling away. I am going to miss the truck, but honestly, we were looking at at least 7 to 8 thousand dollars in repair bills. So all I want now is our stuff.
