Cuts corners to save $, resulting in unusable product

Smitybilt manufactures a line of Molle-configured seat covers, but does not disclose in the item description given to retailers that a pair of seat covers SOLD AS A PAIR ONLY (individual covers not available for purchase) contains only enough Molle gear for ONE seat cover, NOT the pair.

First, WTF, how far does the stupidity run in THIS company, and second, who in their right mind would buy these with full disclosure that adequate parts to make BOTH seat covers functional (as pictured in their provided stock photo) is not included as pictured?

The company's response, when contacted, was that it was a "price point issue" yet even this excuse does not hold water. If a company is in the business of manufacturing after-market accessories for individuals who routinely spend thousands to tens of thousands of after-market dollars on their vehicles (Jeep and truck owners) it is just foolish to think this demographic would flinch at the price difference involved to make the seat covers function as advertised.in fact, I purchased the same seat covers, sold individually (1 each) for my Jeep, and was happy to pay the price quoted. I would have paid the SAME price to get the same functionality for the truck covers, if this option had been available! Why offer truck covers ONLY as a "pair" and then only include molle gear for ONE cover? This is so absurd that the question should not even have to be asked.

This company needs to realize the needs of its target demographic and quit wasting our time! Now I have to return these and find a shop to custom make what I needed in the first place, wasting my time and money, and preventing Smittybilt from making an easy sale, IF THEY SOLD A USABLE PRODUCT.

Please join me in a boycott of Smittybilt products until they get their act together!
