Coverage denied for heater and actuator problem on newly bought vehicle

I'm filing a report concerning the none coverage of a vehicle I just purchased on December 3. The vehicle during the first week the heater would not get hot, so I made time to have it checked out it was the heater core unplugged, so the following Friday it would not stay running so I had it towed to the dealer where they said it was actuator and he said first automotive service told him the type of coverage I have do not apply to my vehicle in which this part is a driveability issue, covered I thought under the engine warranty.
