Online autoparts supplier Sends Wrong Part, then Charges — Impossible to Contact

Cars & Transport

I ordered a radiator fan for my aging Volvo online from PartsGeek.com and had them ship it directly to my mechanic. One week later, a box arrives with the wrong part.

I email explanation to PartsGeek customer service (there is no phone) and receive an AutoReply with a Service #. There is no response to correct their error. I email again and receive the same: AutoReply with another Service #.

Meanwhile, 3 weeks later, the correct part arrives at my mechanic's garage. Too late, I had to have my mechanic order from the part from his vendor.

Still no response from Customer Service. I check with MasterCard and PartsGeek submitted its charge. I have filed a credit card dispute with MasterCard. What a waste of my time.
