Repeated phone calls to a number that does not belong to the individual they are calling

Beginning 08/30/07 I began recieving phone calls on my cell phone, for an individual I do not know, have never heard of and know they have not had my cell phone in the last four years. Despite my calling, my husband calling and informing them we are not this person, do not know this person, have never met this person and obviously this person gave them incorrect information, they continued to call even after assuring me my number was out of the system.

I have a total of 13 calls on my cell phone, three were made to me while I was on a cruise which roaming runs at least 7.99 a minute 2 of them made less than 7 minutes apart. Each time I told them this is not the correct person, I dont know him, never knew him etc... The most infuriating call came on Thurs at 7:00 pm when a very rude representative told me she had the right to call this number all she wanted because he gave it to them, then turned around and said oh the number was removed at 1:45 pm.

I called back and told her I had the right to get thier address and speak with a supervisor. She was very reluctant to give it to me and would not give me her name. I know have the address, what is my next step I am going to have to pay close to 80.00 for just those calls while on my cruise. I want to be reimbursed for that, especially since they were informed on 08/30/07 that this was not a correct number, not to mention all the minutes they have used on my cell phone calling while I have been local.

The day my number supposedly came off the system the calls increased and I recived 4 in one day after it was removed and one the next morning at 7:00 am. How do I stop this?
