Sold car thats not in drivable condition transmission was bad and needs a brake job and doesnt want to take responsibility

Bought a car from A@M motors not even a month ago and within the same week noticed the car had transmission, oil leak, and brakes problem notified the car company and there acting like there's nothing they can do, they even had me bring the car to one of there mechanics and he determined that the transmission is bad but they don't wanna spend the 1,700 dollors to fix it they want me to pay and they will take it off the price of the car but I want agree to that I already put $2,850 dollors down and can't even drive the car so I'm tryin to get some legal advise about gettin my money back because if they're doing buisness like that I myself don't wanna do buisness with them.
