Ripoff dishonest money hungry car deale

I bought a 1996 Chevrolet Lumina from Freeway Motors. They were very friendly and helpful during the sale. I was thankful for what I looked upon as kindness at the time of sale.

It was about two months later when the car started to make loud noises and drive horribly. My Dad looked at the car, we found that it needed new head gaskets and the manifold was so rusted that it had broken in half. I fixed the car out of pocket because they sold me the car as is.

I continued to drive the car on a regular basis. A few months later I began to notice that the transmission seemed to be slipping. This went on until the 9th month after I purchased the vehicle. At that time the transmission went out, I called Freeway Motors to see what they would do. They offered to fix it but I would have to make payments on a transmission side note.

The day I was to bring it in the car began to overheat and leak water. I had the car towed to the dealer. They put a new transmission in for $1200.00. I was not able to drive the car after the work was done because it was still overheating. We found that there was a hole in the radiator and it needed a new water pump as well. I bought a new radiator and water pump and had them put in the car.

As of today one year after I have bought this car, I have learned that the car now has a cracked head. If you ask anyone at Freeways Motors they had no way of knowing that the car was in the condition it was in. They say it's just the luck of the draw. I guess it's not normal practice for their mechanics to check out the cars to be sold.

I think they lied and took advantage of me. I know they had to know what they were selling me. I am going to get rid of this car and never deal with Freeway Motors again. I would suggest that everyone else take my advice and steer clear of their dealerships.
